For individuals who cannot be seen by Dr. Moss in Greenville,SC you can use the books and CDs produced by Dr. Moss to understand how relationship and emotional problems develop. Additionally, you can use the information to more effectively deal with all relationships (marital, parent/child, sibling, work, etc.). All of the materials produced by Dr. Moss are based on the brain model published in the peer reviewed Journal of Mind and Behavior in 2006. This model allows for a unique understanding of many things, both secular and spiritual. The newest book, "For Better or for Worse: Am I in Love with a Giver or a Taker", can be used by everyone.and a great step if you are thinking of relationship counselling or relationship therapy. It is for anyone involved in a close relationship, including dating and pre marriage ones. It describes why people act the way they do, as well as the most effective ways of dealing with others. "Understanding Emptiness" discusses all relationships, from parents to work supervisors and coworkers. Over the years patients have indicated this has explained accurately the behavior they have seen in their relationships. Many have commented that it was as if Dr. Moss knew the people since the information is so exact. For Christians, the new insights to the brain provide affirmation of the accuracy of the Bible. Both of Dr. Moss’ books explain why humans are incapable of perfection, being slaves to the world as they try to activate positive feelings and suppress negative ones. By far the most comprehensive information is given in the CD set, “Bad Feelings, Bad Thoughts, and Bad People: Understanding and Dealing with Eachâ€. The first CD is the same information Dr. Moss gives to patients as he explains why their problems have developed. The next provides an understanding of the current methods available for treating psychological difficulties, and how the clinical biopsychology approach provides a more comprehensive understanding. The third CD goes into detail as to why people develop depression/grief tied to losses in life, and why this type of depression eventually resolves. The last 3 CDs discuss givers and takers in extensive detail, with the last CD also incorporating specific suggestions Dr. Moss uses with couples he sees for relationship therapy. In conclusion, the CDs and books can provide help for individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional problems, including anxiety and depression.
